This project for me was a fun project that introduced to me a new way of understanding colors. I chose a triad color group which consist of colors yellow green, vibrant orange, and vibrant purple. Take a look at my work below!

Monochromatic Painting

This is my monochromatic painting. The color I chose for this painting was my favorite color orange. The color orange ranges from its lightest to darkest color.

Chosen Artist Presentation

Yinka Shonibare is one of the most incredible artist I've every researched yet to date. His use of color throughout his African fabric prints to his photographs are just outstanding. He not only displays a work of art but he also intends to project a message within. I believe that all of his work is abstract but also relatable to the happenings in today's society. Monochromatic Sofa

I found this incredible sofa that is also a great example of a monochromatic color. As you can see the sofa transitions from dark pink to a off white color. I think it's just awesome!

Great Example of Monochromatic

Since my major is interior design I wanted to choose something in interior so the example below is a great example of monochromatic. It has a range of saturated oranges and tinted shades of orange. I absolutely love it!
