I love the colors used in your animation. The vertical movement is unpredictable and suits the GiF well. I almost wish there was a slight movement at the bottom purple triangle, I see the top red moves the slightest bit. If the bottom moved as well I believe it would overall make the animation more interesting.
I think the subtly of the transitions is interesting but could've been pushed a little more. I'm interested in what's outside of the composition and I think it would've been neat to see what you could've done with that. That transparencies are well shown though which is also good.
Your animation does a great job of exhibiting how the transparency works between the main colors. I enjoy how only the central figures move because it creates a depth. However, I would have enjoyed seeing the top row and bottom shape move in the opposite direction as the central shapes. This would have created more of a 'party' like we had discussed in class.
